Gary Swandells founded SGC in 2012 and has been working in Smart Grids and Demand Response since 2006 making him one of the very first professionals within the sector.  He has been responsible for the first commercial development of the UK's market leading aggregated smart grid service provider and pioneered managed STOR & triad services.

During the past six years Gary has developed extensive networks of customers, suppliers and experts in almost every aspect of Smart Grid development and operation.  These include National Grid, Distribution Networks and Electricity Suppliers who are often seen as the key players in the future of Smart Grids.  However, Smart Grid is already here and through the pioneering work over recent years SGC also have real experience of project delivery and working relationships with companies and contractors capable of delivering infrastructure and communications upgrades that are often required
